Join us a for a night of music, myth, and mirth! Stage West and Fort Worth Film Club are partnering In advance of the newly-announced Penelope to host an O Brother, Where Art Thou? Movie Watch Party.
Whether you’re new to classical re-tellings or can name all the gods and goddesses in the pantheon, ALL ARE WELCOME - and you’re not going to want to miss this one! This folk musical-comedy fable is a re-imagining of Homer’s The Odyssey, set in 1930’s Mississippi as three escaped convicts search for hidden treasure while a sheriff pursues them. With a Grammy award-winning soundtrack, O Brother, Where Art Thou? is an irreverent riff on the epic myth told through satire and toe-tapping songs.
